Mr. Perfect Movie Review

Mr. Perfect Movie Review
Behind the Movie: The recent soft lover boy image of Prabhas secured after ‘Darling’ will be examined once again with this flick in direction of Dasaradh. As usual producer ‘Dil’ Raju keeping too many hopes with presence of two beautiful heroines Kajal Agarwal, Tapsee and music from Devi Sri Prasad, here arrives ‘Mr. Perfect’ today into theatres. Let us see, how perfect is this film?
In the Movie: Vicky (Prabhas) is a modern day perfect young boy dreaming high about future. He is working in Australia on dream project to start own animation (video games) industry. Vicky doesn’t believe in old ideologies. In order to stay victorious in life, he doesn’t mind hurting others by disrespecting their values and sentiments. He feels himself as ‘Mr. Perfect’ with no adjusting attitude.
One fine day, Vicky’s father (Nazar) asks him to arrive in India for attending sister’s marriage in their native village in a Coastal district. Other purpose of this visit is to make Vicky meet Priya (Kajal Agarwal), his old school mate and fix their marriage. Priya is a girl of self respect who finds her joy in happiness of others. Although Vicky and Priya are initially quarrelsome, they soon patch up and love buds between the two. Finally when Priya changes her priorities and interests getting ready to marry Vicky, he disapproves her reasoning incompatible mentalities.
On his way back in Australia, Vicky meets Maggie (Tapsee) whose thought of mind is exactly same as him. When both of them get ready for marriage and approach Maggie’s industrialist father KP (Prakash Raj), he keeps an interesting test for Vicky to win his daughter. Vicky on his way to win Maggie by passing this test understands the true meaning of life. How did KP’s family change the thinking attitude of Vicky? How did KP win back his true love Priya? forms the heavy climax.
Values of the Movie: In shorter version producer ‘Dil’ Raju’s team has once again relied on an emotional story line comparing the beliefs and mental outlooks of past and present generations. Shades of ‘Orange’ and ‘Brindavanam’ are easily observable in the film. Apparently story was thin but script was burdensome. Dasaradh tried his best to make patrons glued to his emotions. Unfortunately slow narration and old pickled boiling family drama have taken a toll and director Dasaradh failed in these aspects. Dialogues by Abburi Ravi are quite interesting which can be considered as life line for ‘Mr.Perfect.’ Music by Devi Sri Prasad was good work for two songs and background sensed like a copy of ‘Bommarillu.’ Cinematography by Vijay Chakravarthy was fine while editing by Marthand K Venkatesh became weak in second half.  Production values of ‘Dil’ Raju are definitely remarkable.
Performance wise Prabhas got a new character with two different shades. The macho man well balanced the both and excelled in spelling lengthy dialogues with utmost feel. Surely Prabhas raised his acting standards appreciably shouldering the movie in compliance with beautiful Kajal Agarwal who looked awesome. She is undoubtedly won the hearts of audience. Tapsee enters in second half with a typical character quite matching to her energy standards. Self dubbing of Tapsee left a bad remark damaging her role. Comedy by Brahmanandam as Jalsa Kishore was a laughter riot. His presence saved the first half to maximum extent. Among others Naazar, K. Vishwanath, Prakashraj, Sayaji Shinde, Pragathi, Sameer, Kasi Vishwanath, Master Bharath etc well handled their roles.
Out of the Movie: ‘Dil’ Raju’s confidence on sticking to his own psychology of repeatedly relying on emotional story lines hasn’t worked totally this time. Although there are few glitches of interesting and heart touching episodes but this is not a Perfect package to shine at Box Office. Prabhas and Kajal gave a delightful performance with superb chemistry which was not alone enough to pull the movie for two and half hours. Especially missing of emotional efficacy and depth of scenes in second half might cause a problem for movie’s success.
All the village episodes with enough fun generating ingredients mixed in first half worked very well. Of course story moved hardly by an inch. Yet first half is easily passable with an expected interval bang. Second half is where actual movie unfolds which lagged to entertain audience with inconsistence and slow storytelling. In particular lengthy, exhaustive second half served negative for entire film.
BO wise a section of family audience might like the overdosed emotional and sentimental scenes with Prabhas leading from front. Other wise ‘Mr. Perfect’ is an old wine in new bottle.
Final Verdict: Not totally Perfect!

Deadly look of Manchu Lady revealed

The grand event of ‘Anaganaga Oka Dheerudu’ logo launch was held few minutes ago at Cinemax where in guests like Raghavendra Rao, Suresh Babu, Rama Naidu and entire cast and crew of the movie was present. The first impressing point that caught many of the viewers by shock is the deadly look of Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna in the movie.
Deadly look of Manchu Lady revealedShe plays the villain role and the above pic says how best she owned the character as director Prakash Rao (Son of Raghavendra Rao) made this movie with highest budgets in compliance with Disney. Let us wish that entire crew of this movie get the fruits for their hard work and may this movie serve as a good platform for Lakshmi Prasann and Shruti Hasan.

Kajal loves to keep it on 'F'

Kajal loves to keep it on 'F'Beautiful heroine kajal agarwal these days is the busiest actress in industry having assignments filling her pockets. None knows, what is her secret formula to look with ever shining face inspite of her heavy day and night schedules? Well, the occasion was T. Subbirami Reddy Awards function and the way Kajal made her entry with a different kind of cream applied onto her Face surprised the guests and scared the photographers.
Well, we have seen such creams called Zinc Creams applied by Australia and New Zealand cricketers to save the face from Sun burns. kajal agarwal is known to be following this lovely formula of applying this thick sun screen to make her Face look refreshing. What say Kajal, is it the same or anything else?

Difference between Tarak & Charan

Might have heard or discussed many a times but after the release of ‘Orange’ this subject looks more worthwhile to debate as whether the movie of ‘Orange’ was right selection for ramcharan after such big hit like ‘Magdheera?’ Rajamouli has already shown the peak of heroism in Cherry and many agree that any movie next to ‘Magadheera’ for Charan looks like standing at foot hill both performance and production wise.
Difference between Tarak & CharanComparison of heroes’ futures coming out from Rajamouli’s illusion will be a prominent aspect here. Junior NTR has fallen into the trap of monotonous roles of mass orientation after ‘Simhadri’ and failures have flown with very next movies like ‘Andhrawala’ and ‘Samba’ continued till the varied performance in 'Yama Donga.' But projection of ramcharan in ‘Orange’ is entirely on a different canvas compared to ‘Magadheera.’ Irrespective of the result at BO for ‘Orange,’ ramcharancame out successfully out of the world of Rajamouli’s heroism and as a ‘Lover Boy’ he succeeded in winning the hearts.
Charan’s performance as Ram in ‘Orange’ is entirely on the different pole to Kala Bhairava. This would help Mega Fans to compare his upcoming ‘Merupu’ with ‘Orange’ but not with ‘Magadheera.’ This is at best ramcharan as an artist succeeded in coming out of ‘Magadheera’ hangover and the story judgment, director selection is major difference between Junior NTR and Charan post enjoying the dangerous super hits from Rajamouli viz. ‘Simhadri’ and ‘Magadheera.’
Good that both these young heroes represent two biggest family names in industry and they render super hits again and again showing the stamina of Tollywood to entire World.

Big Producer waiting for Charan's call

Big Producer waiting for Charan's callAlready mentioned earlier about Chiranjeevi formally committing to Aswini Dutt for allotting the dates of Ramcharan’s fifth movie, here comes news that Aswini Dutt finalized nearly half a dozen of stories for this Mega Venture. Vyjayanthi Movies succeeded in offering a brilliant platform for Charan with ‘Chirutha’ and he is growing heights from then on with ‘Magadheera’ and now ‘Orange.’
As per the available reports, Charan promised Dutt to listen the story lines once he is relieved from ‘Orange’ burdens. Last two days, Ramcharan is relaxed enjoying the ‘Orange’ talk on Twitter. Now, Charan may call up Dutt at any time before going on ‘Merupu’ schedules which are to start very soon.
If everything goes right, other technical details of Mega Power Star’s fifth movie may be out in the first month of 2011.

Dusky beauty 'Open Offer' for Producers

Dusky beauty 'Open Offer' for ProducersWho can it be? Yes, she is none other than priyamani. The actress who had the glory of having won the National Award has these days become more of the masala stuff in South cine circuit. The criteria on which she is selecting the subjects have become a topic of discussion for cine folks.
Give her the needed remuneration and she is open to offer any kind of performance, say market sources. priyamani is rightly following the law of Demand Vs Supply. From the times of ‘Sadhyam,’ priyamani seems to have forgotten to ask any of the producers about the importance of her character in the movie. This is other form of well digesting the formula to stay in market and is making hay while sun shines.
Even her upcoming projects are also bound to be the same saucy roles which don’t offer any scope to perform. Let u see, how many days more priyamani will travel on the same track?

Orange Movie Review

Disclaimer: This review is an opinion of review writer. Please do not judge the movie based on this review and watch movie in theatre and let us know your feedback in comments below.
Behind the Movie Orange: Ramcharan is back after the industry biggest hit ‘Magadheera,’ Director Baskar heavily burdened to build the new image for Mega Power Star, Harris Jayaraj refreshing tunes already topping the charts, Genelia trying for the first hit in 2010, producer Naga Babu spending more than the needful with entire shooting in Australia…with too many positives and too many logics, ‘Orange’ arrived today as a treat to Mega Fans. Let us se, how colorful is this ‘Color of Love’?
In the Movie Orange: Ram (Ramcharan) is a wonderful youngster residing in Sydney with sister and brother-in-law (Manjula and Sanjay Swaroop). Ram is in search for a new girl after nine successful love failures in his life. Ram believes in ideology that ‘True Love’ can never remain the same with time. Longevity and Love are inversely proportional. With passage of time, Love decreases in intensity and slowly it becomes conditional searching for ‘Reasons’ to get separated between any two lovers. So, Ram believes in the doctrine of Short Term Love.
Jaanu (Genelia) is a bubbly and cheerful college going girl who doesn’t have any idea on Love and she is fascinated to have a Boy Friend. Obviously, Ram falls in love with Jaanu at very first sight only for her innocence. Time starts and Jaanu tries to understand the Short Term Love concept of Ram. More she thinks on this new kind of Love story with her uncle Puppy (Brahmanandam), more she gets deeply attracted into love with Ram.
Here comes the lock as Jaanu demands a Love that is Life Long from Ram who is not in a position to give her a word. Why that Ram is unable to come out of his own puzzle? Here comes the flash back and Ram goes back to his college days where he fell in regular love with Ruba (Shazahn Padamsee). With time, Ram slowly looses his self identity, changes his friends, tastes and on a whole he looses his independence; all for the sake of Ruba who wants Ram to love and live alone for herself. Result is a break up. From then on Ram changes his philosophy.
How did Jaanu, her father (Prabhu), Sydney Police officer (Prakash Raj), Ram’s neighbor (Naga Babu) made our Hero understand the true meaning of Love forms the crispy climax.
Values of the Movie Orange: Story of ‘Orange’ throws a new angle on Love. Such wafer thin and refreshing story lines are tough to be presented on screen. This is more of an excellent screenplay rather than working too much on story. Baskar comes out with this wonderful subject rightly for Ramcharan but script has many loose ends which made the narration partially ineffective. Dialogues worked very well with audience. Few one liners and philosophically coated sweet tablet like dialogues were easily digested by audience. Cinematography by Rajasekhar is top notch and this can be regarded as one of the best in 2010. Editing by Marthand K Venkatesh was abrupt and non conclusive in few situations, overall it could have been still better. Music by Harris Jayaraj stood best part of the movie and the background was exuberating. Production values of Naga Babu and Anjana Productions are ‘The Best.’
Performance wise, Ramcharan stole the entire show. He was at very ease shouldering the role with graceful look in trendy modern costumes. As a Lover Boy, Ramcharan scores 100% of marks. Particularly in songs, he will pinch the hearts of young babes. To speak about the body language, Ramcharan seems to have inherited that quality of Chiranjeevi to get deep into any kind of character given. After ‘Magadheera,’ this is the right choice. Genelia has continued the bubbly character of ‘Bommarillu’ in entire first half of this movie but coming to second half, she delivered a settled performance. Shazahn Padamsee has a key role in second half and she looks very beautiful. Though Naga Babu got a small role but ‘reasonably’ the best character in movie. Comedy wise Brahmanandam and Avasarala Srinivas were best mixed into the story. Remaining Madhurima, Manjula, Sanjay Swaroop, Vennela Kishore, Prabhu, Sameer and others were delightful on the screen.
Out of the Movie Orange: Best Positive and Most Negative aspect of ‘Orange’ is ‘Story’ itself. Ramcharan redefines himself as ‘Great Lover’ who makes us understand that Real Love is more about offering the ‘Ocean of Love’ in the form of Drop by Drop. Real Love never demands ‘Reasons’ and should be seen from the view point of your opposite Partner. Story is very little but it speaks bundles of Philosophy.
Though movie takes off very slowly; once Gennie enters, audience get the doctrine of Ramcharan and Brahmanandam is into the story, ‘Orange’ picks up with huge laughs and good entertainment without missing the logics of actual story in first half. Second half, narration slows down but subject wise more worked out in second half. The way short climax is worked out in second half, director Baskar’s vision is completed with final scenes and scrolling titles.
For Mega Power Star Fans, sure that you get hooked to screen and Ramcharan has done the magic of Love. Particularly in songs like ‘Nene Nuvvantu’ andd ‘Rara Rammante,’ he was amazing. This doesn’t mean that there are no drawbacks. Once we start finding the ‘Reasons’ we end up only with ‘Reasons’ but not the innovative part of ‘Orange.’ Overall, it is the Colorful show with simple and new angle in ‘Love.’
Verdict of the Movie Orange:  Truth – Refreshing, New and Feel Good Love Story. Dare – Slow narration and BO success depends upon how B & C centre audiences digest this Ultra Modern concept and hi-fi picturization.
                                                                                                                               Reviewed by Srivaas

Balayya accepts other Flop Director

The list of projects balakrishna is accepting these days is more like Lord Hanuman’s tail. More disappointing aspect for Nandamuri Fans is that majority of the names attached to balakrishna’s new films are of failed directors. May it be Bapu, Dasari Narayana Rao, Paruchuri Murali or B. Gopal, there is every reason to worry as Balayya has aroused from ashes with ‘Simha’ and the same momentum needs to be taken care of.
Balayya accepts other Flop DirectorBut, here comes shocking news from industry sources that balakrishna is all set to accept the offer of flop director Srivaas for the new movie tentatively titled ‘Roudram.’ Initially this story was thought to be selected for Gopichand but with too many twists and turns Srivaas came back to balakrishna’s table and the producer Shivalenka Krishnaprasad readily accepted the offer. More details will be out soon as ‘Rama Rama Krishna Krishna’ failed director Srivaas almost pleased Balayya.

Dil Raju's hard blow to Prabhas Fansr

Dil Raju's hard blow to Prabhas FansFor all those die hard Fans of young Rebel Star prabhas waiting for the release of ‘Mr. Perfect,’ here is a hard blow from Producer ‘Dil’ Raju that movie is not to release for coming Sankranthi season. After the super hit ‘Darling’ which showed the power of prabhas in a cool lover boy getup, this ‘Mr. Perfect’ with Kajal was more discussed project in recent times in the direction of Dasarath.
Finally, it is good news for Nagarjuna Fans that ‘Gaganam’ will be the Sankranthi release from ‘Dil’ Raju which is to push ‘Mr. Perfect’ to either February or March. So, need to wait for our prabhas darling for three more months.

Ramcharan is FIRST in Mega Family On Twitter!

This is as happy news as the release of ‘Orange’ for Mega Fans. From long times, there was a demand from Mega Fans to see any of their heroes on Twitter to get regular updates about happenings in the Mega compound. After continuous pressures from Mega compound people and especially Genelia, here comes Mega Power Star Ramcharan on Twitter.
Ramcharan is FIRST in Mega FamilyYes, he is the FIRST in Mega Family to arrive on Twitter and his handle is @alwayscharan. With ‘Orange’ slated for release tomorrow, Ramcharan has got nearly 4,000 followers on the very first day in Twitter and that too with very low publicity provided by those who wished to see him on Twitter.
So, one thing is for sure that Mega Fans will have some genuine and regular updates than hearing the same from third, fourth and nth persons. Ramcharan Rockkksss…and let ‘Orange’ also Rockkkkkk…!!!!

Vishnu to lead Manchu family comeback

After ‘Bindaas,’ Jhummandi Naadam’ and ‘Saleem’ for Manchu family, nothing worked positive. Before the release of ‘Saleem,’ the hype that surrounded this family disappeared very quickly and thanks to that handy work of YVS Chowdary that Vishnu has taken a long time to get out of the shock while Manoj had a serious shoulder injury and is planning to come back. It was Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna alone shining here and there.
Vishnu to lead Manchu family comebackAll of the sudden, something positive energy started to revolve around the family and that is obviously with the logo launch of ‘vastaadu naa raju’ which is to happen today but postponed due to sudden political developments in the State. Directed by Hemant Madhukar, this movie is regarded as best of the movies from Vishnu and the grown up performance of this young hero is more talked about in the market. Of course Lakshmi Prasanna’s ‘Prematho Mee Lakshmi’ on E TV is also to start at the earliest. Let us wish that Manchu family hog back the lime light with Vishnu and ‘vastaadu naa raju’ leading from the front.
