Balakrishna Guest Role In 'Oo Kodatara Ulikki Padatara'

Balakrishna will appear in a guest role in Manchu Manoj movie 'Oo Kodatara Ulikki Padatara'. The film is directed by debutante Raja. Balakrishna currently busy with Sreerama Rajyam and Hara Hara Mahadev.
Oo Kodatara Ulikki Padatara is produced by Manchu Lakshmi. This is Lakshmi’s third movie as producer after Nenu Meku Telusa and Jhummandi Naadam, all of these 3 movies are with Manchu Manoj in lead role.

'Dongla Mutha' packs up

Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma stood by the word. He completed the entire shooting of 'Dongala Mutha' in four and half days flat without spending a single paisa on the production and star casting. There was star hero like Raviteja and versatile artists like Prakash Raj, Brahmanandam, Brahmajee and heroines Charmi, Manchu Lakshmi in this remarkable achievement. Now, Ram Gopal Varma takes the movie on to next level of post production activities.     Movie was totally shot in natural light without using artificial lightning. Four Canon cameras were used to can the scenes in four angles and that too with out equipments like Jimmy Jibs and Dolly. Final copy would be ready with in minimum time and Dongala Mutha would be released in theatres on 4th March 2011 as publicized earlier.

RGV’s Donagala Mutha takes off

Ram Gopal Varma’s zero cost directorial Dongala Mutha shoot started yesterday at Hyderabad. The entire shoot will be wrapped up in 5days. Ravi Teja, Prakash Raj, Charmi, Lakshmi Manchu, Supreet, Brahmanandam and Brahmaji are casting in the film. Dongala Mutha has 5 technicians including director Varma while Puri Jagnnadh and Harish Shankar are the co-directors of the film.

The movie is scheduled for its release in the early March and to meet this deadline, RGV planning to complete the post-production works at the earliest possible. The first look of Dongala Mutha has been released with few pictures of Ravi Teja and Charmi.

Lakshmi Manchu’s 2nd production film with Manoj

Manchu Lakshmi, who proved her acting skills and gained lots of praises with the latest release Anaganaga Oka Dheerudu seems to be concentrating on both action as well as production.

Lakshmi is all set to produce a new film with his younger brother Manoj in the lead role. She has earlier produced Jhummandi Nadam with Manoj and Tapsee which turned out to be an above average film.

The new film is titled as Vuu Kodathara Vullikipadathara, which will be directed by a debutant. The hunt for the leading lady and other cast and crew is still on. Vuu Kodathara Vullikipadathara will hit the floors in the month of February.

Manchu Lakshmi gets 'Little Alcoholic'

In past many times, Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna has shown her social responsibility by participating in peoples welfare activities. Returning from USA to India, audience had gut feelings about Lakshmi as a metro cultured girl whose addictions like roaming in pubs and drinking habits. Not once that industry folks renamed Manchu Lakshmi as 'Manchi' Lakshmi for her worth appreciating initiatives, a rare find out in this generation. Although, the spoiling brats in this speed world would get their share of meaning in the parody poem, looking from a positive perspective the tweet from Manchu Lakshmi holds good message about the changing psychology of youth. By the way, Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna appears to be a teetotaler.

Lakshmi Manchu in RGV’s Dongala Muta

Ram Gopal Varma has made sensational news about his next Telugu directorial by wrapping up the filming part in just 5days with zero cost. The movie is titled as Dongala Muta and Varma announced that Ravi Teja is playing the lead role in the film.

RGV has tweeted the finalized cast of the film and the list also included Lakshmi Manchu. Lakshmi has received applauses for her terrific acting in her debut Telugu flick Anaganaga O Dheerudu and now, the lady seems to have given nod for this maverick director to be a part of his Dongala Muta.

“Final cast of Dongala muta is Ravi Teja, Charmy, Lakshmi Manchu, Brahmanandam, Subbaraju, Brahmaji, Ajay and Prakash raj,” tweets Varma.

Hero's Daughter debut as Heroine

Anaganaga O Dheerudu, a socio-fantasy adventure saga and the first South Indian Disney production film was written and directed by Prakash Kovelamudi.. This socio-fantasy flick, which is made with a budget of 32crores, raised many hopes among the audiences. Everyone expected that it sets a new beginning for socio-fantasy trend in cinema history. STORY:

Irendri(Lakshmi Manchu) a witch queen with exceptional black magic powers, with her powerful troops forces people of Angarajyam a tear drop shaped island with fear and deception to perform rituals to gain colossal power. Druki(Ramji) a man from Agartha village in the island starts from his village to Pushpagiri Parwatham to request a 9 year old girl Moksha(Baby Harshitha) a 9 year old girl from the asram in puspagiri parwatham to save kids in his village from unknown ills. Upon Druki’s request Guruji of the Asram sends Moksha along with Yodha(Siddarth) an extremely skilled blind swordsman, is the only one who can keep Moksha safe from Irendri and her troops comes to the rescue of the people of the island. Artists Performance

Lakshmi Manchu

Lakshmi is the soul of the story, she over shadows the lead pair with her performance. She has got an amazing role in her debut in the form of irendri, She is perfect. Lakshmi should be thankful to Prakash for giving such a wonderful role in her debut and Prakash is lucky enough to get an actor like her. No other female actor would have fit the role, any other male actor(with character name changed) wouldn’t have created an impact she has created for irendri’s character. Her performance is praiseworthy.

Siddarth in his first ever action role as a blind warrior is fit for the role, He is good in wooing the heroine. After a disaster like Bava it’s a breath taking for Siddarth. At times we find him acting more than required.

Shruti Haasan

Shruti played the role of a smart fortune teller is as gorgeous as she is, She looks awesome in songs. Prakash has taken a proper care of her attire. She is elegant through out. She is good at histrionics too.

OTHERS

Baby Harshitha who played the role of Moksha is fine; Ravi Babu is apt as Sudigundam. Ali,  Tanikella, Brahmanandam doesn’t have much footage.

Story-Screenplay & Direction

With Ananganaga O Dheerudu, director Prakash Kovelamudi doesn’t just deliver solid fan-boy entertainment, he pushes the boundaries of Telugu Cinema in a manner that seems to bridge the gap between imagination and the practical limitations of the day. Though the characterization of Siddarth reminds us of Mohanlal’s YODHA(1992), But its entirely different and remarkable. He should appreciated for his vision.

Visual Effects

Visual effects worth a special mention for this film, Visual effects are extraordinary, spectacular & ideal. We find visual effects through out Irendri’s character in the movie.

Music

As the audio was well received in the pre release scenario, will top the chartbusters post release as every song was shot elegantly. Background score is wonderful at all the times when Irendri’s character was on screen.

Others: Cinematography by Soundar Rajan is first-rate, he did extremely well. Editing was good.

Analysis

Wonderful script, awesome visual affects is AOD. The basic plot of AOD is simple and predictable even, but look out for the various allusions that Prakash sneaks in. AOD is an astonishing feast for the eyes and ears, with shots and sequences that boggle the mind. If prakash would have got any better star as a hero on the project, It has a strong potential to create wonders at box-office. A Must Watch!

Despite his stardom and huge fan following, Mega Power Star Ram Charan is always trying to remain down to earth with his acts. Off late, these acts of Ram Charan are triggering the pathetic attitude of many persons in the film industry. All this clearly shows that Lakshmi Prasanna is very immature despite her education in the prestigious institutes of USA. Fans of Mega clan are saying that Lakshmi Prasanna is too jealous like her father regarding the growth and stardom of Ram Charan at a tender age.

Will Lakshmi Prasanna be an Evil or Angel?

Last one week, we hear of only one name in cine circles and that is Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna. Reason being very much known that she is making her debut as an actress in Tollywood and that too with a very big film ‘Anaganaga O Dherudu’ where she plays the negative role with evil thoughts inside.     Audio release occasion of this movie has been a culmination of her craze as we have seen many of the guests started praising Lakshmi as very next to Mohan Babu in performance. Audio launch of 'Anaganaga O Dheerudu' became a debatable stage for one subject and that is about Mohan Babu's 'Garvam'. Mohan Babu is known for special rendition of dialogues and that is why called Dialogue King. Director Rajamouli legibly and purposefully wished that Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna should become a finer actor than Mohan Babu and plunder the arrogance (Garvam) of her father for ranking himself as only actor.  Later on Junior NTR also took the side of Rajamouli with a desire that Lakshmi Prasanna should surpass her father. "I don't think anyone can plunder the arrogance of Mohan Babu. But, I would love to see if anyone does that", Jr NTR said. The first trailers cut by director Surya Prakash Rao, son of Raghavendra Rao for his film Anaganaga O Dheerudu are alarming a threat for Magadheera records. The magnum opus Magadheera created new records in film industry and Rama Charan is at risk that his records have become vulnerable and are to be broken.  "My dad Chiranjeevi questioned me how did I miss the hero character in Anaganaga O Dheerudu very soon after watching the trailers. Many movies after Magadheera were intentionally made eyeing its records. In this year we didn't see any possible threat to Magadheera. Speaking with open mind, I see every possibility that 'Anaganaga O Dheerudu' can break all the records of Magadheera. This movie is so appealing like a combination of Magadheera and Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari," said Ram Charan at the audio launch of Anaganaga O Dheerudu.

Siddharth, Shruti Haasan, Lakshmi Prasanna starrer ‘Anaganaga Oka Dheerudu’ had its audio launched yesterday at Novotel, Hyderabad. The audio event looked colourful with several bigwigs attending the event. Mohanbabu, Jr.NTR , Ram Charan Tej, Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Sumanth, SS Rajamouli, Krish and others along with ‘Anaganaga Oka Dheerudu’ cast and crew attended the event.The event happend much stylishly than any other audio releases. Siddharth, Shruti Hassan, Lakshmi Manchu were introduced in a new style into the auditorium. Mohan Babu has launched the audio CD and presented it to all the young heroes. All the celebrities who attended the event praised the whole team of ‘Anaganaga Oka Dheerudu’ and wished the whole team a grand success. The most awaited film of this season, ‘Anaganaga Oka Dheerudu’ under the direction of K.Prakash is gearing up for its release, this Pongal. Meanwhile, the audio of the film will be launched on 18^th, December which was composed by four music directors MM.Keeravani, Salim Sulaiman, Koti and Mickey J Meyer.

With Siddharth and Shruti Haasan in the leading roles and Lakshmi Prasanna in the negative role, the movie is based on a place called Angarajyam, an island which falls under the rule of evil queen Irendri. The makers say Siddharth has performed some daring stunts in the film and more interestingly, ‘Anaganaga Oka Dheerudu’ is said to have 4000 visual effects shots that will cover in 72 minutes of the film’s run time.

Well, looks like more surprises are yet to come out when the film releases!
