Saloni to pair up with Venkatesh!

Saloni, who has made her comeback with Rajamouli’s directorial Maryada Ramanna seems to be grabbing every big chance that comes her way. Post Maryada Ramanna, Saloni has taken up only a single female-centric film Telugammayi. But later on Saloni has got the chance of pairing up with biggies of Tollywood.

Recently, the actress has accepted one of the female lead roles in Bala Krishna’s forthcoming film Mahadeva Naidu. Now, the latest update is Saloni has been zeroed in as the second leading lady in Venkatesh’s new film which is the remake of Malayalam hit Bodyguard. Gopichand Malineni is directing the film and Trisha is playing the female lead.

Hope Saloni gets the deserving break with these couple of big banner projects.

Venky, Gopichand Malineni & Bellamkonda Combo

Gopichand Malineni has earlier made his mark in Tollywood by directing Don Seenu with Ravi Teja and Shriya in the lead roles. The young director is in news again by signing another film with producer Bellamkonda Suresh.

This time, Gopichand has grabbed the opportunity of directing Victory Venkatesh. Bellamkonda Suresh is producing it on Sri Sai Ganesh Productions and the movie will start rolling its camera from 4th April. There is a buzz in the industry that Bellamkonda Suresh is remaking Body Guard movie in Telugu version with Victory Venkatesh. We haven’t received clear reports yet, if Gopichand Malineni is roped in for directing the remake of Body Guard or a new other script.

Venky’s Savitri with a budget of 40 crores?

Victory Venkatesh’s new film Savitri was launched recently at Ramanaidu Studios in Vizag. The regular shooting of the film will commence from 12^th March. Trisha has been roped in as the leading lady in the film.

Teja, director of Savitri informs that the film is heroine oriented subject. Suresh Babu is producing the film under the banner Suresh Productions. There is also a strong buzz making in Tollywood circles that Savitri is being made with an approximate budget of 40 Crores which is highest in Venky’s career till date. Well, the news can be clarified only by Savitri makers.

Ileana to pair up with Venky!

Victory Venkatesh will be soon seen romancing the curvaceous beauty Ileana in one of his new films. The movie will take shape in the hands of talented director Trivikram Srinivas. The film-makers have finalized Ileana as the lead actress in the film.

D.V.V.Danaiah is producing this untitled film under his banner Universal Media. S.S.Thaman will score the music for the film. Other details of the cast and crew are yet to be announced. The film-makers are currently busy with the post-production works of the film and the movie will hit the floors very soon.

Venkatesh under Vinayak’s direction

Victory Venkatesh and director V.V.Vinayak has earlier teamed for Lakshmi film, which recorded a hit at the Box-Office. Now, the duo seems to be back with yet another film which will be produced by a prominent producer D.V.V.Daniah. The film-makers might soon announce the details of the film.

Venky will soon be seen in the sets of his next film with director Trivikram Srinivas. The post-production works of the film are under progress and D.V.V.Danaiah is producing this film too under Universal Media banner.

Venkatesh as captain for Tollywood CCL

The film stars from various film industries are set to play cricket soon named as the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) similar to IPL. In this league of CCL, star cricketers from all the industries will take part. The teams are titled as Bollywood (Mumbai Heroes), Tollywood (Telugu Tigers), Sandalwood (Bangalore Stars) and Kollywood (Tamil Superstars). During the CCL six league matches will be conducted and one final, which will take off in January. The final winning team will receive 25 lakhs as the prize money.

Manchu Vishnu owns the team while Venkatesh is the captain for Tollywood cricket team. Samantha and Tapsee are selected as brand ambassadors for the Tollywood team. Salman khan and Surya are the captains for Bollywood and Kollywood CCL teams respectively.

Producer with 'Guard' for Asin

Bellamkonda Suresh is an orthodox filmmaker, who believes more in remaking of other language hit subjects rather than encouraging local Telugu talent. A disaster in the name of 'Nagavalli', the remake to Kannada 'Aptharakshaka' hasn’t taught him any lesson because his next flick is again a remake to Malayalam hit film 'Body Guard' that is 'Kavalan' in Tamil with Vijay and Asin released on the Pongal. Bellamkonda apparently won the remake rights of this 'Body Guard' for huge amount and is presently finalizing the hero and heroines. Though Balakrishna and Venkatesh are interested in this project, producer is holding back the production for one more month because Asin is known to have expressed her liking towards working on the project and she is to make a come back into Telugu films only once she completes her bollywood film 'Ready' with Salman Khan. Bellamkonda is guarding the flick till Asin arrives back.
