Ajith’s new Upcomming film Asal preview

Ajith Kumar,one of the top actors in Indian Film industry now acting on his 49th film Asal.Film Asal is directed by Saran of Amarkalam fame and is produced by Sivaji Productions. The Ajith-Saran combo has in the past created records and a hat-trick: Kadhal Mannan, Amarkalam and Attagasam.

Sameera Reddy was doing the female lead, after her sleek and crisp performance in Vaaranam Aayiram directed by Gautham Menon.

The music for Asal will be scored by Bharadwaj. Saran and Bharadwaj combination is something that has always worked and is all set to create magic once again. Some of their most noteworthy ventures include Idaya Thirudan, Parthen Rasithen, Vattaram, Jay Jay, Gemini, Amarkalam and Attagasam.

Amal Neerad, one of the most stylish directors in Malayalam movie world and Mammootty , one of the most stylish actors in Malayalam are again teaming up for their next blockbuster called SON OF ALEXANDER. Like Sagar Elias Jackie being the sequel of “Irupatham Nootandu”, this movie will also be a sequel of the movie “SAMRAJYAM“. Samrajyam was one of the biggest hit of the late 80’s and had run in theatres for more than eight months and that too in many languages. In the movie Mammootty played the role of an underworld don called Alexander. As the movie name implies, the second sequel will have Mammootty to play the “son of Alexander”.

After the major break in Big-B, this is the second time that Mammootty is pairing up with Amal Neerad.

Amal Neerad is now considered to be a money back guaranteed director as both his movies in Malayalam turned out to be massive hits. Without any doubt, the movie is going to be more stylish than his former one’s.

Upcomming Movie Yugapurushan Preview

Yugapurushan, the film based on the vision of Sree Narayana Guru, the mystic and social reformer of Kerala, started at Ottapalam on Wednesday. After the pooja at Varikkaassery Mana, the first shot was taken. The pooja started at 9 a.m. Mammootty, Navya Nair, Kalabhavan Mani, Saikumar, Thalai Vasal Vijai, Kaithapram Damodaran Namboodiri, Producer A.V. Anoop, Director R. Sukumaran, Ottapalam and M.L.A A.M. Hamsa attended the function. Niece of Social reformer Ayyankali Ponnamma lighted the lamp. In the second shot Mammootty enacted the role of K.C. Kuttan, a revolutionary who lived and supported the guru’s principles and teachings in the same period. Mohanlal dons the character of Swamy Vivekananda while Babu Antony is in the role of Ayyankali, a Harijan leader in Kerala. Navya Nair is cast in the role of a Brahmin lady named Savithri Antharjanam, who loves and marries a 'pulayan' named Koran. Thalaivasal Vijay will don the role of Sree Narayana Guru in his seventies.

The movie will also present historic personalities like Mahatma Gandhi, Tagore, Chattambi Swamikal, poet Kumaranasan, T.K. Madhavan, Ayyankaali and Mannathu Padmanabhan. Also in the cast are Jagathy Sreekumar, Kalabhavan Mani, Saikumar, Siddique, Devan, Saiju Kurup, Sukumari and Shobha Mohan.

Director said, The film is not to meant to describe the complete life of Sree Narayana Guru, but to portray how the vision of Guru changed the history of the society. Thus the new generation can understand the significance of Guru's vision. The movie also aims to break the notion that Sree Narayana Guru belonged to a particular segment in the society. Unlike common entertainment film, Yugapurushan will guide the forthcoming generations. Other locations are Kannur, Cherthala, Mysore and Srilanka. The film would be released in connection with the Guru Jayanthi celebrations in September. The estimated cost of the film is five crore. Earlier films of R. Sukumaran are Padamudra and Rajasilpi. The script of Yugapurushan is by R. Sukumaran and lyrics by Kaithapram Damodaran Namboodiri. Music is by Mohan Sithara and Camera by Ramachandra Babu. Banner of the film is AVM Productions. Yugapurashan is based on the history of Sreenaayana Guru

New Malayalam movie Body Guard Previews

Body Guard is the new malayalam movie which features Dileep and Nayanthara in main roles. Hit-making director Siddique, who gave us blockbuster entertainers like Friends, Hitler and Chronic Bachelor, now returns to Mollywood after a gap. The last film he directed was the Tamil film Sadhu Mirandaa, with Prasanna, Kavya Madhavan and Abbas in the lead.

Siddique makes his comeback to Malayalam with Bodyguard, teaming up with Dileep for the first time. Bodyguard, scripted by Siddique himself, tells the story of Jayakrishnan, a young guy with a very strange habit.Nayanthara is the heroine of Dileep in the movie. Ever since his childhood he was attracted to anyone who showed a trace of heroism. There was a time when he adored cops for their heroism. And then when he grew up to find that there were crooks who could out do the cops, he started admiring them.

Another strange thing about Jayakrishnan is that whenever he develops an admiration towards a person, he would prefer to move along with that person as sort of a bodyguard. It was thus that he started admiring Ashokan, a former liquor baron who is now a leading businessman and a very influential person. Jayakrishnan wants to be Ashokan's bodyguard, but the fact is that Ashokan doesn't need a bodyguard. But since Jayakrishnan approaches Ashokan with recommendation from someone he cannot refuse, he appoints Jayakrishnan as a bodyguard.

As part of his new job, Jayakrishnan moves along with Ammu, Ashokan's daughter, as her bodyguard. Interesting things happen when Jayakrishnan accompanies Ammu to her college. What follows then forms the rest of the plot.While Dileep becomes Jayakrishnan, Nayantara makes a comeback to Malayalam after a gap of four years, playing the role of Ammu. Thyagarajan becomes Ashokan. The film also features in the cast debutante actress Mithra. Bodyguard, like Siddique's earlier films, will have enough of humour, but is likely to be romantic too.

Indrajith with his new film 'Nayakan'

Indrajith, elder brother of the upcoming star Prithviraj hasn’t got many opportunities to portray himself as hero but now here is a chance to show his talents as solo hero in the film Nayakan. Nayakan is the debut feature film venture of Lijo Pellisseri, son of late actor Jose Pellisseri. Lijo Jose Pellisserri has experience with ad filmmaking.

Nayakan, a revenge drama will feature Indrajith as an action hero for the first time and through this film he will be the first hero in Malayalam to display six-pack abs. The flick has Indrajith playing the role of a Kathakali exponent who is forced to join the underworld to take revenge on the people who ruined his family.

Nayakan features several salient Malayalam actors including Thilakan, Siddique, Jagathy Sreekumar, Lalu Alex, Sreejith Ravi, Vijay Menon, Rekha Pillai, Sumi, Cochin Haneefa and Bheeman Raghu. P.S Rafeeq is the script writer. Vijay Ulakanath and Manoj Paramahamsa wield camera. Sachithnandan Puzhagara has penned the lyrics and prasanth Kulangara has scored the music. The movie is produced by Anoop John under the banner Eluminato.

To perform his character in the film, Indrajith is studying Kathakali since he is playing the role of the son of a Kathakali artist. Dhanya, heroine of this film is the same girl who acted in the film Thalappavu. Indrajith is fast gaining popularity in Tamil and will be soon seen as the villain of the Vikram starrer Kanthasamy.

Daddy Cool Preview

Daddy Cool is the latest malayalam movie which features Superstar Mammooty in the Central Character. After a long time , mammooty is coming back with a Police officer. His recent movies were not much good and those movies didn't do anything to his stardom. Now He is coming with a family movie,Daddy Cool. Here is the Preview of the Movie Daddy Cool. Daddy Cool which is directed by Ashiq Abu.

In the film Daddy Cool, Mammootty plays the role of Antony Simon, a Crime Branch Circle inspector in the movie. He prefers to free himselves from official duties to spend time with his eight year old cricket crazy son, even though he is a brilliant officer. But Antony's wife, Annie is however irked and dejected by the growing laziness of her husband who was a meticulous officer during his younger days.

According to Antony, he feels that his world has changed since he turned a father to ever mischievous Aadi. The adventures and attitudes of this father and son who share a heavy bond between themselves, makes a sea change after a chance encounter with a cricketer named Sreekanth, the first Malayalee to cement his place in the national cricket team.

The movie which is being shot at Kochi and nearby places is cinematographed by Samir Thahir, who hit big time with his work for the movie ‘Big B’. Debutante director Aashiq Abu who was a former assistant to Kamal, also scripts for the movie. Richa Pallod, the model and heroine of movies like Shajahan appear as Annie in the movie. Master Dhananjay dons the role of Aadi while Govind Padmasuriya, the hero of Adayalangal is cricketer Sreekanth. Also in the cast area Bijumenon, Ashish Vidyarthy, Vijayaraghavan, Raadhika and Saikumar.

‘Daddy Cool’ will feature songs by Biji Bal in the lyrics of Santhosh Varma, Anil Panachooran and Venugopal, Produced by Ananya films in association with Marikar films. As Per the Latest Reports Daddy Cool is ready for the release but it is postponded to Aug 15.
