Mohanlal-Suresh Gopi teams ‘Janakan’ for next January

Debutante director N R Sanjeev's Mohanlal starrer ‘Janakan’ will grace the theatres as the first movie of the Super star in 2010. Now slated for a release on Jan 26, the movie was earlier planned to grace the theatres, this November. Distributed by Aashirwad release, the movie will also have Suresh Gopi in an important role.

Meanwhile Mohanlal’s other movie in production ‘Alexander, The Great’ will go for a patch up shoot, next week. The director Murali Nagavalli is planning for a three day shoot at the capital city, to complete the remaining portions.

Suresh Gopi in & as Dr.Ravivarma in New Malayalam Movie 'Sadgamaya’

Suresh Gopi is appearing as an eccentric doctor in the new movie by Harikumar titled ‘Sadgamaya’. The star's character in the movie is named ''Ravivarma'' - a doctor who don't hurry between patients, but only look into those with whom he can develop a mental equilibrium. The movie narrates a mysterious relation that Ravivarman develops with a patient named Yamuna. Navya Nair is the heroine of this movie which has already started its shoot at Thiruvananthapuram.

Harikumar who specialises in weaving family movies, has included Jagathy Sreekumar, Thilakan, Swetha Menon, Lakshmi Priya and Shivaji Guruvayoor in prominent roles in ‘Sadgamaya’. The movie scripted by Shatrughan will also be shot at Kochy and Peerumudu, before getting completed.

Latest Malayalam Movie ‘Oridathoru Postman’

Shaji Azeez, with Shaiju Anthikkad had made a notable debut as directors in Mollywood in the title credit Shaiju-Shaju, with the movie ‘Shakespeare MA Malayalam’. Shaiju recently turned independent with the movie ‘Oru Black And White Kudumbam’ which made an appreciable run at the Box Office. Now the second director in the duo Shaji Azeez, is turning independent with the movie ‘Oridathoru Postman’.

This movie will bring together Suresh Gopi, Kunchakko Boban and Kalabhavan Mani in the lead roles. Narrating a village based humorous story about the instances in the life of a lazy postman, the movie will also relaunch Ananya as the heroine. Also in the cast are Innocent, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Salim Kumar and Bijukuttan.

Scripted by K Gireeshkumar, the movie will start its shoot in a couple of weeks.
