Actor Prithviraj is married with Supriya Menon today at Thenkurishi Kandath Tharavadu Resort, Palakad. Happy Married Life for Prithvi and Supriya !! ..The function was held with presence of relatives .Some days before the internet has been overfilled with news that young superstar Prithviraj will get married after the release of his home production Urumi. Many says its a pure 'Rumour'. Reports says that Prithviraj, whose name is linked to some of the most beautiful leading ladies, has fallen in love with a Mumbai based television news journalist and his family, especially his mother Mallika Sukumaran, has no objection for this alliance.
Breaking all rumours and fake news, Prithviraj gets married Today (25th april 2011) with Supriya Menon .

Mumbai Police Malayalam movie pooja stills, photos

Malayalam Director Roshan Andrews has signed up Prithviraj and Arya as his hero for his new malayalam film titled Mumbai Police. The pooja of the film and the launch of Roshan's new banner 1000AD was held on Dec 17 at the Ramada Hotel, near the backwaters in Kochi. Prithviraj has big hopes about his upcoming malayalam movie Mumbai Police.

Prithvi was also thrilled, because its his first film by director Roshan Andrews,The shooting will be start on mid of June.

Mammootty and Prithviraj together again : The King and the Commissioner

Megastar Mammootty and Young superstar Prithviraj comes together again in the movie 'The King and the Commissioner'. They were first seen together in the recently released movie 'Pokkiriraja'. Renowned script writer Renji Panikkar and director Shaji Kailash are joining hands for this film after a long gap of 15 years.



The King And The Commissioner is planned as a sequel to the super hit films 'The King' and 'The Commissioner', both by Shaji Kailas – Renji Panikker duo. This pair has produced some of the finest action hits in Mollywood like Sthalathe Pradhana Payyans, Thalasthanam, Ekalayavan, Commissioner, The King etc.

In the original movie 'The King', Mammootty played the role of the District Collector Thevalliparambil Joseph Alex and he will don the same role in the sequel too. Suresh Gopi's popular character as 'Bharath Chandran IPS' was born in the movie 'The Commissioner' and a sequel to that film was also made as 'Bharath Chandran IPS'. In this new film, Young superstar Prithviraj will don the role of Bharath Chandran.

The movie will be produced by Anto Joseph. Mammootty's Playhouse will distribute the film. The discussion about the movie is going on and the other cast has to be finalized.

The King and the Commissioner is expected to be another action thriller. The shooting of the film will commence in January 2011 and may reach theatres for next Vishu.

Prithvi in & as Kelu Nayanar

In 'Urumi', the new period film which is on the final stages of pre production, Prithviraj will appear as a fictitious character named Chiraycakal Kelu Nayanar. Set in the 16th century, the character of Prithviraj is the one, who is the leader of a gang all set to kill Vaso Da Gama, the first European traveller who landed in Kerala in 1498. Kelu nayanar is scripted as a member of erstwhile princely state Kolathu Naadu. Prithvi , who is for the first time giving life to a mythical character in a period film is thrilled to be in one such character which is associated with stories of heroism. Penned by Sankar Ramakrishnan, this Santhosh Sivan movie is expected to go on floors at Malchet Ghat in Mahrashtra, immediately after the Onam season. Urumy is produced by Santosh Sivan and Prithviraj in association with Shaji Nateshan.

PrithviRaj's New malayalam Movie ‘City Of God’

We are pretty sure that many of the cinephiles have already seen the movie ‘City Of God’, which is considered as a bible for the makers of thrillers. Here in Mollywood too, a movie is on the papers with the same title. This Malayalam movie will have three different parallel stories, as in the original movie, which will join together towards the end forming an interesting thread. Scripted by Babu Janardhanan, ‘City Of God’ will be directed by Deepan, who was blessed with a big hit in ‘Puthiya Mukham’, recently.

Prithviraj will be the protagonist of the movie which will have Swetha Menon, Navya Nair and Rima Kallingal in other important roles. Expected to start its shoot by the 20th of November, the movie will be produced by Shaji Natesan in the banner of Bravo International.

New Malayalam movie Puthiya Mukham Review, stills and photogallery

Puthiya Mukham is the latest malayalam movie which is released yesterday. The movie features Prithviraj, Bala, Meeranandhan and priyamani in the main cast. The movie is directed by Deepan who debuted in malayalam film industry through this film. The first thing i want to say about this movie is that it has no story in it.

The movie starts with the introduction of Prithviraj as a musician. The plot of the movie is based on the engineering study of Prithviraj and incidents caused in his life in the college. Prithviraj is doing the role of Krishnakumar , basically a bhramin. Meera Nandhan and Priyamani are the heroines of prithviraj in the movie.Bala who is the rich guy in college likes to marry Priyamani who is also his family friend. Priyamani is a fresher and in Krishna Kumar’s class. Like many other girls, she too gets attracted to him and gives him special care. Bala feels insulted and tries to regain her.

The story takes a backseat here the rest are all kicks, punches and slaps. It is at this portion Puthiya Mugham becomes unique. The director takes effort to give each fight an individuality which bestows beauty. Fans call him the upcoming Megastar. Fighting machine Prithviraj proves to be the Numero Uno angry youth in Malayalam Industry.

Bala has good role. This will be the second role for Bala to gain him some attention in Malayalam. Earlier with his character in Big B he pocketed major roles in more than twenty films, now Puthiya Mugam will provide him roles till his next hit. Meera Nandan who is also making her presence felt in Tamil is eye candy as the lover of hero. She has the look, Color and flavor of a natural malayali girl.

Sudheesh and Jagadheesh are funny at times and have managed not to overact. Lots of young artists acted in this film and have done their part well. Script by Sindhuraj has got flow. The hard work in pre production stage is visible. The characters are natural. But people cannot identify intensity of their motive. Each action and dialogue is backed by a reason. The film does not have big dialogues or preachy speeches.

Watching Puthiya Mugham is like viewing a Tamil film with the sensibility of Malayalam. Each scene is taken richly. Scores of people are managed and were filled in frame. Camera by Bharani K. Dharan sets the tensity. Action director Analarassu needs special mention. Editing by Samjith MHD is good. Graphics, Background are all in tune with cinema. Couple of songs seems to be hit.

Technically this film has surpassed most Malayalam films. Puthiya Mugham can’t boast much, but will punch your face, roll you in floor and slug you to wall. Deepan is proving film is more visual orientated than tailored to story. It is high time a through out action film has sold tickets in counter. As they say in poster Puthiya Mukham is for the youth and this will be a new beginning.

This movie is a one man Show of PrithviRaj. It's not a must watchable movie and surely will become an average hit.
