Kiran was born in 1981in a royal Rajput family in Rajasthan. She graduated from the prestigious Mithibhai College, Mumbai and soon after began working in music videos, which was the stepping stone to her film career. A North-Indian girl, Kiran Rathod has acted in a lot of South-Indian films. She has a “sex bomb” image in the industry.Like a lot of other actors in the industry, she started off by assisting in film making. Kiran was the Assistant Director of the super flop film Bal Bramhachari (1996) .She has worked in Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam films, though her first film was in Bollywood. In her first film she played Hritik Roshan’s fiancé in Yaadein (2001). Subsequently she worked in a few more Bollywood films.
